Samuel is a tax, commercial and corporate advisory lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in tax advisory having worked for the Uganda Revenue Authority for 25 Years where he was engaged in drafting of tax legislation, formulating justifications for proposed tax legislation, passing of private rulings in tax disputes, rendering tax advisory services to staff, tax advisors and taxpayers alike including major multinational companies engaged in a diversity of businesses including taxation of corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Energy, Project & Infrastructure development, Banking & Finance, and Project Finance covering Income tax, VAT and Stamp duty treatments. Samuel is directly involved in major tax matters as advisor to the Uganda Revenue Authority, Government of Uganda and private entities.
