Lydia is the Co-managing Partner and the head of the firm’s Corporate & Commercial practice. She is a commercial and corporate advisory lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in multi jurisdictional commercial transactions cutting across corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Energy, Project & Infrastructure development, Banking & Finance, Project Finance, and Real Estate, Property & Construction, Immigration, Corporate Governance & Employment. Over the years, Lydia has worked with renewable energy and power engineering & construction entities offering commercial legal advisory on construction and development of hydro power projects in Uganda where she is directly involved in the private equity investment and financing of the projects and ensuiring implementation of contract obligations, legal and regulatory compliance, permitting and licenses, review and/or preparation of project contracts, project land acquisition. She has also undertaken professional training courses on the FIDIC construction contracts and public private partnerships.
